High performance anode for larger yachts
The new Power Series of anodes features a high performance design - featuring finned models with increased mass and surface area. The first in this series is the Boater’s Dream - a novel 12 x 6 finned transom anode for larger yachts. The increased surface area, combined with the increased voltage protection available from Navalloy™ allows for a greater cathodic protection current than available from a traditional 12 x 6 zinc anode. It will significantly increase the reduction in hull potential (measure of p

High performance sacrificial anodes
Performance Metals Premium Line of anodes is manufactured from Navalloy, a military specification MIL-A-24779(SH) aluminum alloy. This alloy is very different to that used in an outdrive! It contains 5% zinc and traces of indium, which ensures that it stays active.0D;

· Navalloy is more active so it gives better protection.0D;
· Navalloy last up to 50% longer than zinc.0D;
· Navalloy “self-cleans” in freshwater. Zinc anodes form a coating that stops them working within a few months.0D;

Red Spot Wear Indicator
The anode that tells you when to change!
The anode that tells you when to change!
Exclusive to Performance Metals, each Wear Indicator Anode has a colored plastic indicator embedded within it that appears on the surface when the anode wears to half its original size. By simply inspecting the anode for the dot, boaters can easily determine when to replace it.
