Harken Gizmos
Growing line of rigging solutions
Growing line of rigging solutions
Harken now offers Gizmos, a growing line of engineered soft-attach terminations and through-deck pieces. Gizmos acknowledge riggers’ desires to minimize weight and eliminate as much heavy metal as possible.
MKIV Ocean Furler
Effortless headsail control for cruising sailors
Effortless headsail control for cruising sailors
MKIV Ocean is designed and manufactured with the same strength, longevity, and ease of use standards as engineered for our MKIV racing furlers. It shares MKIV’s headfoil connection design making it easy for aftermarket professionals to install. MKIV Ocean is MKIV without features cruising sailors don’t need—and priced to reflect that.
CLR™ 12000
Compact. Light. Retractable Mooring Solution
Compact. Light. Retractable Mooring Solution
Harken has added the CLR 12000 to the current line of mooring winches, appropriate for both sail and power yachts up to 91 m with holding power up to 12000 kg.
The CLR 12000 is a flush-stowing, deck-mounted powered winch featuring unique geometry that makes it weigh significantly less than the competition, occupying about half the horizontal and vertical footprint space while delivering comparable mechanical advantage. The patented drum system and unmatched power/size ratio means less space is needed.

Single-acting Integral Backstay
For sail shape optimization and smooth furling
For sail shape optimization and smooth furling
Harken’s new integral hydraulic backstay adjuster provides the power to optimize sail shape quickly for racers and adjust mast tension for smoother furling for cruisers. The cylinder features a built-in, single-acting pump.
Every unit includes a hardcoat-anodized aluminum cylinder and pump, valve, and stainless pump handle with two attachment options: 1) a roll pin, that when installed, locks the handle permanently, 2) the roll pin can be left off and the handle may be inserted when needed.

Harken Vang-Master
Infinitely adjustable air vang
Infinitely adjustable air vang
Harken has become the exclusive distributor of Marine Product Engineering’s Vang-Master products worldwide. The Vang-Master is an infinitely adjustable, turnkey solution for maintaining optimal mainsail shape. Each Vang-Master product uses air pressure to provide extension force to hold the boom up, without the use of mechanical springs, keeping the operation squeak free and also reducing weight. The vangs are made of 6061 T6 aluminum.
Marine Grip
A superior, nonabrasive grip tape
A superior, nonabrasive grip tape
Harken Marine Grip is a thin, durable, nonabrasive grip tape that is more effective than adhesive alternatives and waxes. The superior grip tape reduces slipping and stands up to harsh marine conditions.
Reflex Furling Unit 3
Use downwind sails more often
Use downwind sails more often
Reflex™ 3 has been added to Harken’s popular family of asymmetric and code zero furling systems. Pull the furling line on deck and the drive unit reacts reflexively to rotate the unique Reflex torsion cable, instantly transferring torque to the head swivel for a smooth roll-up and tight furl. This is great news for sailors itching to get their free-flying sails out of the forepeak and into the air. With a rated load of 4.5T (10,000 lb), the Reflex 3 fits boats from 12 to 17.7 m.
FlatWinder™ 500 Powered Block
Low-profile electric mainsheet traveler
Low-profile electric mainsheet traveler
The Harken FlatWinder™ 500 is a larger version of the FlatWinder 250 powered block, a self-contained, low-profile electrically powered system for mainsheet traveler adjustment. These powerful blocks are easy to use and offer sailors huge benefits in mainsail control, giving them the means to quickly depower the rig, and delay reefing when the wind picks up. Like a compact captive winch for the traveler, the FlatWinders are completely self-contained. They operate in both directions.
Power3 Ratchet Blocks
Three holding power options
Three holding power options
Harken’s Power3 ratchet blocks have one-design sailors covered with three holding-power options that best suit the day's wind and wave conditions. More ratchet choices allow sailors to fine-tune their set-ups in tandem with the purchase that provides the ideal level of power, responsiveness, and grip. Now available in 57 and 75 mm sizes.
V Sheaves
High-load, extremely efficient titanium sheaves
High-load, extremely efficient titanium sheaves
Developed for the Grand Prix custom boat market, Harken’s high-load titanium V sheaves feature the same incredibly efficient bearing set of angled titanium rollers as Harken’s V blocks. Harken V sheaves are extremely versatile. Perfect for running lines underdeck, in mainsheet and spinnaker sheet or drop line systems. They are also perfect to rig clean backstay systems to steady today’s slender masts and adjust mast bend. Now in sizes up to 20T.
Fly Blocks
Strength beyond mass
Strength beyond mass
Harken high-load Fly™ blocks were developed specifically for use with today’s small diameter high-tech line. Efficient, and with an incredible working load for their small size, Fly blocks give sailors the power they need and are perfect for use on foiling dinghies and sportboats and for vang cascades and backstay systems on Grand Prix racers. Their weight savings alone promises an instant uptick in racing performance.
Protexit Exit Blocks
Strong, durable, gentle small boat exit blocks
Strong, durable, gentle small boat exit blocks
When you race hard, and rip through many hoists and douses, you should expect to start wearing through the sideplates of your halyard exit block -- right? Wrong! Thanks to Harken Protexit™ blocks, wear from side angle loading is not inevitable. Protexit’s all-aluminum, wear-resistant housing carefully ushers line in and out no matter the angle. Protexit blocks also offer higher working loads than any small boat exit blocks Harken has ever made.
Carbo® Ratchamatic® HTE 57 mm Blocks
Auto-ratchets that run freely longer
Auto-ratchets that run freely longer
The Carbo® Ratchamatic® block, is a load-sensing ratchet block that rolls freely in both directions under low loads and automatically engages the ratchet as loads increase. This new Carbo Ratchamatic HTE (High-Threshold Engage) 57 mm block features a spring that is 20% stiffer to delay the point where the ratchet engages, allowing the block to run free more of the time. Perfect for skiff sailors who want their spinnaker sheets to stay free running longer for crisper jibes.
Deck Organizers
40 and 50 mm Sizes
40 and 50 mm Sizes
Harken deck organizers lead halyards and control lines aft, allowing crew to sail from the security of the cockpit. The injection-molded composite top plate provides superior impact and UV resistance. Asymmetrical sheaves of glass-filled nylon have flared bases to lift lines up and off the deck, and combine with a proven bearing system to reduce friction.
CLR Mooring Winches
Flush-stowing, deck-mounted powered winch
Flush-stowing, deck-mounted powered winch
The Harken® CLR™ mooring winch is a flush-stowing, deck-mounted powered winch for both sail and power yachts featuring geometry and mechanical characteristics never before seen. No other retracting, flush-mounted winch has offered the power-for-size ratio offered by the CLR. It stows completely belowdeck and occupies 40% less horizontal and less than 50% of the vertical space required by the previous market leaders. The CLR weighs just 33% of its competition while delivering comparable mechanical advantage.
SnubbAir
It's not just a winch
It's not just a winch
SnubbAir can replace winches. In other applications it could act more like a really large ratcheting footblock or even a ratcheting line diverter in the pit. The SnubbAir provides lots of line-holding power even without a winch handle. That muscle could become very popular on an A Scow or a powered-up sport boat where the spinnakers can be more than a handful. Even better, you can just flip the sheet off the drum and jibe. If you need even more holding power, wrap the sheet twice or use a winch handle.
